Marton also developed Lean Construction Fundamentals, a professional education course for Engineers Australia on the Engineering Education Australia (EEA) platform, helping introduce lean construction principles to industry practitioners.
Lean Quality in Engineering and Construction
Lean Quality is an approach to engineering and construction that focuses on improving project performance by building reliability and efficiency into all aspects of delivery processes rather than relying on inspection and rework.
It brings together lean thinking, quality management and organisational learning to improve reliability, reduce waste and strengthen project outcomes.
Lean Quality focuses on:
- Improving reliability in project delivery
- Reducing errors, rework and wasted effort
- Building quality into systems and processes
- Strengthening organisational learning and continuous improvement
This work supports organisations seeking better project outcomes, stronger quality performance and more reliable delivery across complex projects and programs.
Areas of Focus
Business Process Improvement
Helping teams and enterprises enhance performance through better systems, clearer workflows, closer collaboration nd more effective organisational practices.
Construction Productivity and Organisational Performance
Supporting stronger project delivery by intertwining lean and quality systems, organisational learning and better alignment between strategy and execution.
Design, Construction and Technical Advisory
Drawing on deep engineering experience in design, construction and technology to inform more reliable decision-making in project delivery and asset performance.
